Sababa was established as a different kind of Israeli dance camp.

Sababa's goal is to preserve and enjoy the best of Israeli dance...whether it be from a year ago, five years ago, or even twenty years ago. We don't worry too much about the newest of the new—those dances will have their chance to become classics. We want to dance the best dances ever taught; those we used to enjoy and those we still enjoy...the ones that bind us together as Israeli dancers.

• Sababa isn't an "Oldies" camp, but we’ll play many oldies.
• It's not a "Hotshots" camp, but you'll certainly raise your dancing level.
• It's not a "Learn Till You Drop" camp, but you'll learn a lot.
• It's not an "Obscure Dances" camp, but you'll see wonderful dances you won't see anywhere else.

Teaching: Our talented and experienced teachers will present their newest dances as well as their classic material.

Evening Sessions: Our evening sessions are the heart of Sababa. Devoted to your requests, you will be in a dream world of dancing.

Late-Night Sessions: Ready to revive the great dances of years ago? As the night fades away, we explore material from as far back as the last century! This is the best way to deepen your connection to Israeli dance.

Request Teaching Sessions: Can't pick up a terrific dance because you don't see it often enough? Want a refresher? Our request teaching sessions give you the opportunity to learn any dance you want (as long as SOMEONE knows it!!)

Choreographer Retrospectives: Only at Sababa can you find our afternoon sessions devoted to the work of a single choreographer.

Fun: You'll do lots more than just dance at Sababa. Late-night joke sessions, game playing, swimming, and hanging out with friendly people are all on the schedule. Come prepared to just have a great time!

Food: You certainly won't go hungry at Sababa. Delicious kosher meals and Moshe’s famous refreshments will keep your stomachs full and happy!
