Get Your Keff On... By Car A) From the Taconic Parkway Take the Taconic Parkway to Beekman Road. (Exit sign reads: Beekman Road/Hopewell Jct/Sylvan Lake). At stop sign: If traveling north, turn RIGHT, if traveling south, turn LEFT onto Beekman Road. Travel for 2 miles. At the Sunoco station, turn LEFT onto Sylvan Lake Road, and travel for 0.2 miles. Turn LEFT at entrance to Camp Kinder Ring and Circle Lodge. B) From I-84 (East or West) Take I-84 to the exit for the Taconic Parkway North, towards Poughkeepsie. (Note – the Taconic is 12 miles east of the Hudson River). Proceed according to A above. C) From the New York State Thruway (I-87) Take the Thruway to exit 17, Newburgh. Then take I-84 East, and proceed according to directions for B above. By Train Two train lines service Circle Lodge. After arriving at the train station, please take a taxi to the campground. By KeffBus A special chartered bus will provide round-trip transportation to Circle Lodge from New York City. The KeffBus will depart from East 41st Street & 3rd Avenue at 1PM sharp on Wednesday, August 22. It will return to NYC on Sunday at approximately 3PM.
